Former Barcelona player Gary Lineker sent a message through social media suggesting that Neymar's decision to leave the club is a big mistake.
The ex-England international, using his usual British irony, said that leaving Barça for Paris Saint-Germain is a step back in your career.
In concrete, the Barca player from 1986-87 to 1988-89 wrote: "Oh Neymar, there is only one direction to go from FCBarcelona and that's backwards."
Like many football and Barcelona fans, Lineker feels Neymar will not have the same success in Paris that he can continue to have with Messi if he had stayed at Camp Nou.
Neymar arrived for Barca training on Wednesday but did not train, telling the club he wanted to leave, saying goodbye to his team-mates and then leaving the training ground.
