Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic, having signed a four-year deal with Barcelona, said on Tuesday that he felt "proud and happy" at his dream to join the club coming true.

"Barcelona is one of the biggest clubs in the world and to be part of that is the highest run for any footballer," Pjanic told the Bosnia national team website.

"For me it's a dream come true. I'm happy, proud, not just for me but for my parents and for all of Bosnia-Herzegovina. I'll never forget where I've come from."

The 30-year-old said that "success didn't come by itself but with great work, effort and confidence that in life you can achieve everything, and this is proof."

Barcelona brought him in from Juve with Arthur going the other way in the deal.
