Douglas, FC Barcelona's Brazilian right-back, may be ready to leave the club. He spent last season on loan at Sporting Gijon and is not needed by Ernesto Valverde this year at Camp Nou.
According to various Portuguese media, he could be heading to Benfica, where Barcelona signed Nelson Semedo from earlier this summer. They are winning the battle for Douglas against Sporting Club, their rivals.
