Another game, another clean sheet, another bagful of goals. Things are looking up.
It was Plan B again, like against Kiev, with Champions League last 16 qualification sewn up already. And it looked good again too.
Antoine Griezmann scored in the third match running to break the deadlock, with an excellent flicked finish. He looks more confident now than at any previous time since joining from Atletico Madrid, and that can only be good news.
The electric Osumane Dembele set up Martin Braithwaite for the second goal at the end of an impressive team move.
The third goal came from the penalty spot when Braithwaite was scythed down as he broke into the box at top pace. Dembele stepped up and dispatched from the spot.
The Frenchman would go on to captain the team in the second half with Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba substituted at the break.
He might have added to his tally when set up by substitute Riqui Puig, but instead of shooting looked to give the youngster a goal; the pass was intercepted.
Barcelona could have scored more but were rarely forcing the issue, content with the score as it was and not looking to expend energy ahead of a busy period, starting with the Cadiz clash on Saturday.
