Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone spoke to the media ahead of his team's clash with Barcelona on Saturday night at the Wanda Metropolitano.
One of the aspects of the game which caught some attention among the media in the press conference was the state of the grass waiting for the Catalan side. Barcelona's style of play in which they dominate ball possession is often disrupted by pitches with too tall grass. Simeone didn't want to give any clues away when asked about it.
"I'm not a gardener, I'm a coach, I go to the pitch and I prepare the team, but when you invite me to your house, you invite me with your tablecloth, your plates and your cups," he said, confirming the grass would be cut in a way that will help his team.
