Denis Suárez's cryptic message to Valverde on social media

The FC Barcelona midfielder posted a tweet after the match yesterday which felt like it was aimed at the first team coach

Denis Suárez came out firing against Cultural Leonesa. After being pushed out of the first team picture by Ernesto Valverde in recent weeks, not even making the match day squads, the midfielder produced his best performance of the season in the Copa del Rey. His two fine goals and overall strong performance have allowed him to regain some confidence after not figuring in Valverde's rotational plans.

Denis angrily celebrated his first goal and later finished off a fantastic assist from Riqui Puig to make it 4-1. Suarez made it clear after the match that he hoped his performance would see his playing time increased but the decision ultimately belonged to Valverde. The day after he posted this message on Twitter: "It's isn't about what you deserve, it's about believing (in yourself)".

The midfielder made it clear that it isn't about what people think but rather belief: if he performs well then he'll get the chances he deserves. What remains to be seen is whether Valverde changes his mind and starts to give more opportunites to Denis going forward.
