Cristiano Ronaldo moved back to Manchester United from Juventus but according to Tot Costa on Catalunya Radio, he offered himself to Barca.
It would have been a big blow for Real Madrid fans to see him there. However Barca had no interest and rejected the move immediately.
In the end he nearly signed for Man City and then eventually went to Man United.
Jorge Mendes, his agent, was keen to move him on from Juve this summer and didn’t seem to care about Ronaldo’s club history along the way.
