Although his preference would be a move back to England, Coutinho might remain at the Camp Nou

Philippe Coutinho's future remains unknown. The only thing which is certain at this point is the Brazilian won't remain at Bayern Munich next season. Coutinho would prefer a return to the Premier League but the player isn't against the idea of staying with FC Barcelona.

"Because the Champions League will run until August 23, it will be difficult for players like Coutinho to make any commitments or moves pre that date," insisted the player's agent Kia Joorabchian. "He has the Champions League at the moment, they have to qualify past Chelsea. And then he has got to play Barcelona."

"It's no secret he wants to come back to the Premier League," Joorabchian told talkSPORT.  "He loves playing in the Premier League, he is adored playing in the Premier League and that is one of his priorities." Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Coutinho.

And whilst a move away appears the most likely, agreeing to a deal with Barça might prove difficult. "He is not at all against staying at Barcelona."
