The list of names being linked with a move to FC Barcelona continues to grow by the day. Following reports of Van de Beek potentially heading to the Camp Nou, there's another Dutchman being linked today: Georginio Wijnaldum. The 29-year-old Liverpool midfielder has obviously worked with Ronald Koeman in the national team.
According to Dutch outlet 'AD', Koeman has asked Wijnaldum not to sign a new deal at Anfield so he would be available on a free transfer in 2021. This means he could be available for a cheaper than usual price, or for free if he sees out his final 12 months with Liverpool.
Wijnaldum was the Liverpool hero two seasons ago when he scored a brace at Anfield to help eliminate Barcelona from the Champions League.
