Barcelona have confirmed on Tuesday that Ansu Fati will undergo conservative treatment to a hamstring injury rather than surgery.
The club's medical staff had urged the player to have an operation but he wasn't convinced after his previous experience, which saw him sidelined for almost a year instead of the predicted four months.
Therefore, after a series of meetings between the club and the player, the forward decided to opt for a different path this time.
"The first team player Ansu Fati will follow a conservative recovery plan for the injury to the proximal tendon in his left hamstring," Barça said. "His recovery will dictate his return."
