Chelsea are back in for Marc Cucurella. The English club made an enquiry a few months ago and now, according to reports in London - echoed by AS - Roman Abramovich is set to fund a €30m bid for the Spanish left-back.
Cucurella has emerged as a serious option for Chelsea after their first choice, Ben Chilwell, was valued at €90m by his club Leicester City. Frank Lampard's side will now turn to the 22-year-old Cucurella as his long-term choice in defence.
Getafe agreed to buy Cucurella from Barça at the end of the season for €6m with Barça retaining 40% of any future sale. However, only last month did Getafe and Barça come to a new agreement. The Madrid-based side paid €10m and Barça will only receive 10% of any future sale.
