Barcelona earned a 2-0 win over Cartagena in a friendly on Wednesday, a benefit match designed to raise funds for those who suffered from flooding in Murcia in September.
Carles Perez and Alejandro Marques got the goals for the Catalans, who started with Neto, Pique, Sergi Roberto, Carles Alena, Ousmane Dembele and Junior Firpo on the pitch.
Riqui Puig featued too and impressed as usual with great passing and movement, although he didn't nail the killer ball. Alena did well too, having been frozen out of the team by Ernesto Valverde this season.
Dembele was active, even though he did not score, while Gerard Pique was the protagonist in the first half. He was given an ovation when Valveerde took him off and he clapped the fans back in a sporting gesture from both sides.
In the second half Valverde took off all his first-teamers bar Neto and Alena. Collado did well coming on, earning an assist quickly to set up Carles Perez who broke the deadlock.
Marques struck with two minutes remaining to double Barca's lead while Cartagena were pushing forward for an equaliser. Barca left with the win and the love of the fans in Cartagonova.
