Carles Aleña scores first-ever goal for Barcelona in LaLiga

The midfielder scored the second goal in the 2-0 win over Villarreal

Carles Aleña sentenced Sunday's 2-0 win over Villarreal with his first goal in LaLiga Santander in a Barcelona shirt.

The La Masia midfielder, 20, scored a brilliant goal after receiving a brilliant pass in behind the defence form Lionel Messi in the 87th minute. He took a touch, lifted his head and dinked the ball over Sergio Asenjo.

It could not have been a better finish to the game for Aleña, who had come on for Arturo Vidal in the 71st minute, a substitution which was jeered by some parts of the crowd.

The goal was a glimpse of the quality of the player, who could go on to score many more goals for the club.

For Aleña, it's his first goal for Barça in LaLiga, but he scored his first goal for the club in the Copa against Hercules in 2016-17.
