Barcelona must turn their minds to the second La Liga match, against Real Betis, after defeat by Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames on Friday in their opener.
Valverde gave two and a half days off to his men, who have been called to training on Monday evening at 6.30pm to start preparations for the first clash at Camp Nou of the season.
The planning this week is marked by a double session on Wednesday and a rest day on Thursday.

The team will train early on Tuesday, at 9.30am, with the sessions at 9.30 and 6.30 on Wednesday. The Friday session is in the morning, and on Saturday the team will have a low intensity afternoon session, before the game on Sunday at 9pm against Betis.
