Barcelona are working on Operation Exit, which will be essential in terms of strengthening this summer. The club need to sell to cover costs and to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules. The objective is to bring in 60 million euros by selling players without a first team future, some who are out on loan.

As for transfers, there are two first team names on the table: Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal. Both were signed in the summer of 2015, but neither has become a key player. Despite that, they have good reputations and the club feel they would demand a decent fee.

MARKET FOR ARDA

In the case of Turan, he's a player highly-rated across Europe. Barça paid 34 million euros to Atletico for him and the target would be to sell him for 30 million. Arsenal are among a number of club's interested, with the most money likely to come from China.

Another footballer who could be sold is Vidal. The right-back is recovering from an ankle injury and will be 100 percent by the summer. The injury should not be an obstacle and he's a player who several clubs were keen on when he was not playing regularly earlier this season.

Barça paid Sevilla 17 million euros for Vidal and, as with Turan, hope to get a similar amount back. The idea would be to get at least 15 million euros, although the Catalan club may go as low as 10 million.

RenEW PALENCIA

Vidal's departure would not be a disatster given the second right-back role could be occupied by Sergi Palence. Barça, regardless of what happens with Vidal, are looking for a new right-back, with Sergi Roberto to return to midfield. Hector Bellerin is the top target.

Palencia has one more year on his deal, but the club have began talks over a renewal, looking forward to promoting him to the first team.
