Here are the Barcelona player ratings from the Copa del Rey last 16 first leg clash at Levante.

Japser Cillessen 6 - Didn’t have much chance with the opening two goals, but made a good save from Borja Mayoral in the second half and a great one to deny Jose Morales.

Nelson Semedo 6 - Worked hard in defence but not particularly sharp in attack where he might have offered more.

Jeison Murillo 5 - Could have got closer to Borja Mayoral for the second goal and was also booked for pulling down the striker. Not a good debut.

Chumi 5 - Mugged off by Emmanuel Boateng on more than one occasion, taken off by Valverde as the coach looked to sure up at the back.

Miranda 5 - Scapegoated by Valverde who hooked him at half-time. Not a good 45 minutes but no worse than anyone else.

Sergio Busquets 6 - Not as accurate as usual with the ball and that didn’t allow Barcelona to find any kind of flow.

Arturo Vidal 6 - Ran a lot but not to particularly useful effect - despite that, was one of the better performers.

Carles Alena 6 - Booked for a foul but was trying hard to make a difference for the visitors.

Malcom 4 - Not had a lot of match time but even so, this was a poor display. Missed a golden chance in the first half and never seemed to be on the right wavelength.

Ousmane Dembele 5 - Spurned a couple of chances in the first half because he couldn’t get his feet in order.

Philippe Coutinho 5 - Given a start but didn’t show Valverde anything to prove he deserves to be picked at the weekend. Dispatched a late penalty to pull one back for Barca.
