Barcelona have reached an agreement to sign the Senegalese defender Alpha Dionkou, although he's a signing for Sergi Barjuan's B team, not the first team.
After developing at Manchester City's academy in England, the 20-year-old arrives at Barça having spent the first half of the season on loan at San Fernando from Granada in the Spanish third division.
In fact, Andalusian side San Fernando are in the same league at Barça B, who are ninth in the standings after 20 matches played.
A versatile defender
Dionkou is a versatile defender that usually plays as a right-back, where he feels best, although he can also play as a centre-back if required.
