Valencia defender Jeison Murillo is now a Barcelona player. The two clubs have reached an agreement for the Colombian centre-back to move to Camp Nou on loan until the end of 2018-19 season. Now Barça just need to sign the agreement with Los Che and Murillo needs to pass a medical.
Barça have been weighing up a short-term move for a centre-back and have decided on Murillo after Chelsea snubbed their advances for Danish international Christensen, who was the first option. The Catalan club wanted to finalise a deal as soon as possible and the availability of Murillo -- he's not playing at Mestalla -- helped rush things through.
