Barcelona coach Quique Setien spoke about the development of Real Betis striker Loren Moron, who he coached during his time in Seville, in a press conference on Saturday.

As Barça look to sign an attacker to add depth to the squad, the possibility of signing Loren has been sounded out. He made his La Liga debut under Setien.

"He's a player I know well," Setien said ahead of his return to Betis with Barça on Sunday. "He's an interesting football and was the top scorer in the division for several weeks."

The Barça boss added: "What can I tell you about him... he's a really good player and one with many qualities."

Under Setien, Loren played 60 times for Betis (48 in Liga, 6 in Copa and 6 in Europa League) and scored a total of 15 goals.

The striker from Marbella made his debut in La Liga two years ago, in February of 2018 in a game against Villarreal, scoring two goals in a 2-1 win.
