It's going to be a tough summer for Barcelona and they're open to offers for the majority of their players. The idea is to sell those that won't play. Jean Clair Todibo appears in that group and he could be set for a move to the Premier League for 20 million euros.

At the moment, Barça are negotiating a deal with Everton, who are prepared to pay 20 million plus add-ons. Barça want a buyback option, but it seems almost impossible.

Todibo left the club in January on loan for Schalke, who have a 25 million option to buy. The German club are happy with the defender but the coronavirus pandemic will prevent them paying the fee required to make the move permanent.

Schalke communicated as much to Barça one month ago and asked for an extension to the loan, but the Catalan club turned it down due to the interest in Todibo.

Everton first made contact weeks ago to learn of Barça's intentions. There's a good relationship between the clubs due to past deals involving Digne, Gomes and Mina.

The Premier League side haven't offered the 25 million asked for but have proposed 20 million fixed with five million in add-ons dependent on Todibo's performances.

Todibo is open to going to England although he would prefer to stay at Camp Nou. Barça must make a decision in the coming days.

Other clubs have also asked about Todibo and Barça don't rule out another offer at the last moment. They will sell to the highest bidder, as long as Todibo is happy with the deal.

Barça will make a lot of money on the centre-back. Just 18 months ago they signed him in a deal worth around two million from Toulouse, beating off competition from Juventus.
