Barcelona moved eight points clear of Real Madrid with a resounding 3-0 win over Sevilla at Camp Nou on Sunday.

Jordi Alba, Gavi and Raphinha were on target in the second half as Barca took full advantage of Real Madrid's defeat to Mallorca this weekend.

Barca lost Sergio Busquets to injury after five minutes and could not break down Sevilla in the first half but the second period proved a different story.

Alba opened the scoring in the 58th minute after a brilliant pass from Franck Kessie, who impressed after replacing Busquets, and Barca did not look back from there.

Gavi added the second from close range after good work from Raphinha, who had been played in behind by Jules Kounde.

Raphinha then deservedly completed the scoring after Frenkie de Jong and Alba combined to set up the Brazilian, who played really well in the second half.

Xavi Hernandez's side have now won seven games in a row in all competitions and have an eight point cushion on Madrid at the top of the standings.
