FC Barcelona have confirmed that their Twitter account was hacked last night and that an incorrect story welcoming Ángel Di Maria to the club was published.

Although it’s true that manager Ernesto Valverde is interested in the Argentinian, particularly if Coutinho does not come, the tweet is false as the club stated half an hour later: “Our accounts have been hacked tonight. We are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience”.
