Barcelona have responded to Tottenham's interest in Riqui Puig by "giving them a taste of their own medicine," according to the Daily Star.
The English newspaper reports that Barça are planning a move for Spurs forward Reo Griffiths, who will turn 18 in June. The teenager is one of the stars of the club's academy and is in talks over a new deal.
According to the Daily Mail, Barça's interest in Griffiths stems from April when he scored four goals and created another three in a 9-0 win against Arsenal.
Due to his contract situation, the Catalan club would be able to sign him by paying only his formation rights.
This news comes a week after it was revealed by SPORT that Tottenham are hopeful of signing Barça's talented young midfielder Puig.
