FC Barcelona have confirmed the signing of the midfielder Paulinho after reaching an agreement with the Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande for a fee of €40 million. The player’s release fee has been set at €120 million. He will sign for 4 seasons.
He will undergo a medical on Wednesday and sign the contract and be officially unveiled on Thursday.
Paulinho is a strong and tall (1.82 m) central midfielder who likes to get into opposition’s penalty area and will bring versatility to the midfield. His natural position is central midfielder but he can also play in pivot and as a wide midfielder.
