FC Barcelona have announced that striker Ousmane Dembele has suffered a new hamstring injury that will keep him out for some time. The club have published a medical statement on Tuesday, saying he has "a complete tear in his right hamstring tendon."
The club did not say how long he would be out for, but it is likely to be for the rest of the season. Quique Setien had put a lot of faith in the return of Dembele.
Luis Suarez is out injured too and the club sold Carles Perez and Abel Ruiz. The Mosquito had been in his home straight for a comeback but now has suffered his 10th injury while at the club.
