The end is in sight for Gerard Pique. The Catalan defender, who injured his ankle courtesy of a David Silva challenge in the game against Manchester City, it on track to be back in action for the game against Malaga on Nov. 19.
The player himself shared an optimistic message on social media on Tuesday of himself exercising at the club’s training ground. He posted a photo with the caption: “I’m back.”
Pique was diagnosed with a sprained ankle and the club stated he would be out for three weeks. He has missed five games, three in La Liga, one in the Champions League and the Catalan Super Cup.
As expected, though, he will return for the La Liga game against Malaga next Saturday at Camp Nou (16.15h).
