Barça believe the ball is firmly in PSG's court over a deal for Neymar

At the Camp Nou, they want PSG to work harder to convince Dembele to make the move to the French capital

FC Barcelona consider the deal for Neymar "firmly in the hands of PSG" at this moment in time. The French club must decide what is the next step to take or risk the transfer falling through.

Barça also believe PSG hold the key to unlocking this whole deal. They must work harder to convince Ousmane Dembele they are the right club for his development this season. So far, that pressure has only come from the Camp Nou.

The last 48 hours have seen the deal really heat up. A brief reunion between Josep Maria Bartomeu and Al-Khelaifi, the Barça and PSG presidents respectively, was then followed by the rejection of PSG's counter-offer.

Despite the negative turn of events, Barça - and Bartomeu - are refusing to give up on the deal. SPORT sources have told us: "Until 23:59 on Monday night, anything is possible."
