Barcelona players returned to the club's training ground on Wednesday to undergo tests for coronavirus ahead of a return to training this week or next.

The Ciutat Esportiva has been inactive for 53 days, with the players locked down at home due to the state of emergency put in place by the Spanish government.

However, the confinement measures have been relaxed this week, allowing for a return to training, albeit individually, not collectively.

All players in LaLiga must undergo coronavirus tests, though, and Barça's players were in on Wednesday to see if they are carriers of the virus.

First to arrive was Sergi Roberto, at 8.45am, followed by Ivan Rakitic, Clément Lenglet and Marc ter Stegen. The rest of the players will arrive at staggered times throughout the day.

Most of the players arrived wearing masks and Rakitic was even wearing gloves.

The players were at the training ground for around 20 minutes before leaving through the same gate they had entered through.
