As the club waits to announce their new agreement with Qatar Airways, Barça and Amazon continue to negotiate a sponsorship agreement with sources revealing to SPORT that the pair are far from finalising a deal.
Currently, according to the information given, Amazon would not offer more than 45 million euros per season but the Catalan club are asking for far more, especially given Barça agreed a 65 million deal with Qatar Airways in the summer of 2015.
The basis of the talks between the Blaugrana and Amazon are centred on a three-year contract beginning at the beginning of the 2017/18 season and running until the 2020/21 season. It's now been defined that the agreement won't cause a conflict of interest with the proposed deal with Qatar Airways, who are close to securing an extra season of sponsorship during the 2016/17 season.
Some source have claimed that this particular deal could be made official this week.
