La Liga is open. Atletico Madrid are top, six points ahead of Barcelona and eight ahead of Real Madrid with 12 games remaining.

That means, before Barcelona face Atletico at Camp Nou with four weeks to go, the Catalans will be hoping for Diego Simeone’s side to drop points.

Atletico visit Getafe on Saturday, and after the international break they visit Sevilla and Real Betis. Then they host Huesca and visit Athletic Bilbao.

After the Camp Nou battle they will have three more matches - hosting Real Sociedad. The final matches see them welcome Osasuna and finally visit Real Valladolid.

They also might still be in the Champions League if they can overturn Chelsea’s 1-0 first leg last 16 lead.

The hardest matches for Atletico, beyond visiting Barca, are their trips to Getafe, Betis, Sevilla and Athletic, as well as the Metropolitano game against La Real.
