Arthur Melo is now in Barcelona and the Brazilian midfielder, upon his arrival in the Catalan city, has recorded a message for the club's supporters.
The former Gremio man, whose signing was fast-tracked this summer, will be presented officially on Thursday and will speak to the media afterwards.
In a brief message, he said: "Hola, I am Arthur, I am now in Barcelona and I am really happy to be here."
Arthur has signed a six-year deal (until June 30, 2024) and Barça have paid an initial fee of 31 million euros, with an additional nine million due in potential add-ons.
He becomes the club's first signing of the 2018-19 season, with Sevilla's Clement Lenglet set to follow later this week with Barça paying his release clause.
