Arda Turan understands that he must leave Barcelona. The moment has arrived to make an exit in order to keep his career alive. Or that’s what the Turkish media have said was translated at a meeting on Monday between the player and general manager Pep Segura.
The problem is that the Catalan club say no such meeting took place.
Turkish media Fanatik were the first to comment on the supposed meeting in which Turan reportedly told Segura: “I will not change my opinion, Barça are the best club in the world and to play here was my dream. But the moment’s come for me to go.”
Arda also reportedly asked for “help to facilitate my exit.”
The Turkish international, it’s suggested, feels that he will not get minutes in Barcelona and it’s difficult to change the situation. Therefore, it’s best to look at the offers he has on the table.
Segura, Fanatik added, understood and appreciated his honesty and said that the club would help him find a solution when the window opens in January.
