Antoine Griezmann scored the opening goal as Barcelona beat Leganes 5-0 on Thursday to make the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey, with the draw for the last eight taking place on Friday.
Griezmann played in a central role with Luis Suarez injured for four months.
Barça, meanwhile, have ruled out signing a No.9 this month, meaning the Frenchman could be used there more often between now and the summer.
He spoke to the media after the Leganes win:
Position? "I am used to playing inside. I know where to move and I have more freedom, but I am at this club to help. If they need me through the middle, perfect. Or if it's on the left, then [I will play] on the left. The only thing I want is to help the team."
New coach: "We're trying to learn the way [Quique Setien] wants us to play, which is different to before. We want to kick on in games. We still have things to improve but we're on the right path."
