Real Betis striker Borja Iglesias angrily protested against the referee, Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea, during the second half ofhis side's 2-1 loss to Barcelona in LaLiga on Wednesday.

The Spain international kept shouting at him from the bench, after being substituted, complaining that his decisions were influenced by Barcelona's greater status.

"The difference is the badge", "The badge, that's the difference", Borja Iglesias shouted at him while his teammates who were also sitting on the bench raised their hands in protest.

Iglesias, as captured by television cameras, also did the same to the fourth official. Betis were frustrated by the defeat and William Carvalho was eventually sent off after the final whistle for continued protests.

Speaking after, Iglesias said: "That's how it is. I have nothing more to say. I'm leaving feeling a bit angry. I feel that there are strange things in this match."

He added that "I don't go into assessing whether or not they deserve to win, but I do go into the fact that there are different things (for each team)."
