Andres Iniesta shone against Juventus in Barcelona's 3-0 win. He spoke to the media after the game.
JUVENTUS: If the team works well, we are all better for it. I’m happy on a personal level and above all for the performance of the team. To start the Champions League against an opponent like Juventus is always complicated, but that’s European football. We controlled the game well. They had very few chances and it was a really good performance.
PLAYING UNDER LUCHO: Last season I had some setbacks with injuries which affected my rhythm. With Luis Enrique, the way of managing [those fitness issues] was shared. The manager always wants the best for the club. The important thing is to train well and not have any setbacks.
CONTRACT: There’s nothing new. If there was, you would know. What worries me is what happens on the pitch. I want to be happy and I want things to go well. I put the collective before any personal issues. And I am happy with how everything’s going.
