The Álex Balde v Marcos Alonso conundrum for Barca coach Xavi

FC Barcelona have been pleasantly surprised by Balde's explosion in pre-season.

Had Barca not promised Alonso to do everything to bring him, they might have been contempt without him, given the impressive displays of Balde so far.

Marcos Alonso from his end has shown exquisite behaviour with the club so far.

The contract is short but due, among other things, to financial fair play.

In the summer the left wing will be reorganised. Now there is a lot of competition and performances will decide who starts.
