Barcelona have confirmed the new shirt numbers for the season. Some players already have theirs, like Griezmann (7), Pjanic (8) and Coutinho (14), but it was time for three young players to get theirs today.
Carles Alena will take the No 6, Pedri will wear shirt No 16 and Trincao the No 17.
Alena and Trincao had worn those shirts in pre-season, while Pedri in friendlies wore the 27.
This will be the FIFTH shirt number Alena has had. He debuted with the 28, then the 26, before taking the 21, leaving it for Frenkie de Jong to take the 19 and now he is No 6 - the number of legends Xavi Hernandez and later Dani Alves.
