Xavi wants to play with wingers and Barcelona don't have very many. One that they do have, the Portugal international Francisco Trincao, is on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Rumours have emerged about his possible return from the Premier League club, bu Barça have ruled out that possibility for now.

Re-calling Trincao would see the club miss out on the six million euros Wolves have to pay for the loan in the event they do not make the deal permanent -- they have a 30 million buy option.

And Luuk de Jong?

Even though Barça lack goals, Luuk de Jong, who signed on the final day of the summer transfer window at the request of Ronald Koeman, is not in Xavi's plans. The club want to move him on in January.

A return to Sevilla could not be a possibility after his parent club lost Youssef En-Nesyri to injury.
